Senior Tax & Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee our tax operations while acting as a reliable advisor to our clients.

• Provide mentorship to our team members.

• Evaluate and supervise the completion of business and individual tax returns.

• Create proactive tax strategies for clients from various industries.

• Collaborate with clients to pinpoint planning opportunities and enhance outcomes.

• Act as the firm’s primary resource for all tax-related inquiries.

• Support and review the work conducted by managers and team members.

• Establish best practices, processes, and standards for tax-related tasks.

• Educate and mentor staff on tax concepts, strategies, and implementation.

• Offer ongoing feedback to enhance quality and consistency.

• Contribute to recruitment, structure, and the long-term development of the tax function.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.

• CPA certification is mandatory.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting.

• Strong expertise in both business and individual tax.

• Previous experience in reviewing returns and managing work quality.

• Proven experience in mentoring and managing team members.

• A strong desire to take ownership and develop a function.
