This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Prepare and review Australian income tax returns for various entities, including Individuals, Sole Traders, Partnerships, Companies, Trusts, and Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs).
• Ensure that all tax obligations are fulfilled accurately and submitted within the required statutory deadlines.
• Provide expert tax advice concerning Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Goods and Services Tax (GST), Division 7A, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation.
• Identify opportunities for tax planning and minimisation for clients.
• Prepare and review year-end financial statements for a diverse range of entity structures.
• Develop management reports, reconciliations, workpapers, and supporting schedules.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field is required.
• CA ANZ or CPA Australia qualification is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in Australian Public Practice within taxation and accounting is necessary.
• In-depth knowledge of Australian taxation laws and compliance obligations is essential.
• Strong proficiency in using Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Online, Class Super, or BGL is preferred.
