• **The Role**
• Take charge of the complete recruitment lifecycle for engineering and technical positions, encompassing intake, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and closing.
• Collaborate closely with engineering leadership to identify their precise needs and develop hiring strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Proactively source and engage passive candidates across various geographies rather than solely relying on job postings.
• Establish the technical hiring process from the ground up, including structured interviews, scorecards, feedback loops, and debrief formats.
• Mentor hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques and making data-driven decisions.
• Ensure data integrity in Workable by maintaining clean pipelines and accurate reporting.
• Minimize reliance on agencies by developing robust direct sourcing capabilities.
• Support broader talent acquisition process enhancements as the function evolves, contributing as part of a small team.
• **What we’re looking for**
• A minimum of 3 years managing end-to-end technical/engineering recruitment, preferably in-house at a scale-up or high-growth organization.
• Proven experience in establishing hiring processes from scratch, rather than merely working within existing frameworks.
• Exceptional sourcing abilities, with a knack for identifying engineers who are not actively seeking new opportunities and piquing their interest.
• Capability to engage in credible discussions with engineering leaders regarding their projects and requirements.
• Familiarity with ATS platforms (experience with Workable is advantageous) and a strong emphasis on data hygiene.
• Experience in hiring across diverse geographies and time zones.
• A hands-on, egoless approach, willing to source, screen, schedule, and fulfill any necessary tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to provide constructive feedback when necessary.
• **Nice to have**
• Experience working in a remote-first or globally distributed company.
• Knowledge of competency-based interviewing and structured assessment techniques.
• Exposure to recruitment in complex markets (Middle East, Africa, emerging markets).
• Background in fintech, HRTech, or other intricate operational sectors.
