This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide assistance to managers, supervisors, and senior HR personnel regarding federal recruitment initiatives.
• Help facilitate staffing processes for GS and Administratively Determined positions.
• Utilize USA Staffing to create, post, and oversee vacancy announcements.
• Prepare content for vacancy announcements, ensuring all necessary position and recruitment details are included.
• Assist in conducting job analyses based on position responsibilities, required qualifications, and hiring needs.
• Support the creation of specialized experience statements for various positions and grade levels.
• Develop minimum qualification questions and associated assessment materials.
• Implement USA Hire and other second hurdle assessment methods when applicable.
• Evaluate applications to assess basic eligibility and minimum qualifications.
• Apply federal qualification standards, hiring authorities, and veterans' preference guidelines.
• Aid in the evaluation and ranking of applicants in line with federal staffing regulations.
• Make appropriate entries in USA Staffing and other relevant automated staffing systems.
• Assist rating panels and provide support for applicant material reviews as necessary.
• Help issue certificates of eligibles to management officials.
• Prepare candidate notifications, results notices, and other recruitment-related communications.
• Address inquiries from supervisors, managers, applicants, and candidates.
• Support general, specialized, or targeted recruitment outreach efforts.
• Assist with recruitment processes conducted under Delegated Examining procedures.
• Contribute to quality reviews of staffing case files prior to extending employment offers.
• Aid in verifying candidate eligibility and qualification criteria before appointments.
• Draft or assist with the creation of standard job aids for USA Staffing and USA Hire.
• Maintain staffing documentation in compliance with federal record-keeping requirements.
• Manage applicant, personnel, and recruitment information with confidentiality.
• Perform duties in accordance with DOJ, EOUSA, OPM, and federal staffing standards.
• Ensure the timely, accurate, and compliant execution of recruitment actions.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Federal Government staffing is required.
• Proficiency in utilizing USA Staffing to post and manage vacancy announcements is required.
• Experience in supporting federal recruitment actions under Delegated Examining procedures is essential.
• Proven experience in developing assessment tools, rating criteria, or qualification questions is necessary.
• Background in reviewing applicants for eligibility, qualifications, and veterans' preference is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Current Delegated Examining certification from the Office of Personnel Management is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred.
