Senior Tableau Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

• Collect and analyze reporting requirements from business stakeholders.

• Convert business needs into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.

• Create and sustain Tableau data models, calculations, parameters, and dashboard functionalities.

• Enhance dashboard performance while ensuring the accuracy and reliability of reports.

• Integrate Tableau with various data sources, including Salesforce and other business systems.

• Develop data extraction, transformation, and validation processes.

• Provide suggestions that enhance reporting capabilities and business insights.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data governance and reporting standards.

• Deliver training to end-users and create documentation to build internal capabilities.

• Mentor team members and encourage effective knowledge sharing throughout the organization.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and solution reviews.

• Troubleshoot reporting and data-related issues and provide timely resolutions.

• Continuously seek opportunities to improve reporting processes and analytics maturity.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in developing Tableau dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.

• Demonstrated experience in gathering business requirements and collaborating directly with stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of business intelligence, reporting, and data visualization best practices.

• Experience in designing scalable reporting frameworks and dashboard architectures.

• Proven ability to deliver user training and facilitate knowledge sharing.

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

• Familiarity with Salesforce reporting data is highly desirable.

• Technical Skills:

• Tableau Desktop.

• Tableau Server and/or Tableau Cloud.

• SQL and database querying.

• Data modeling and data visualization best practices.

• ETL and data integration concepts.

• Salesforce reporting data structures.

• Jira, Confluence, or equivalent Agile collaboration tools.

• Nice to Have:

• Experience with AgentForce.

• Knowledge of Salesforce CRM.

• Tableau Certified Professional (or equivalent certification).

• Experience with Power BI.

• Familiarity with Snowflake, Azure Data Services, or similar cloud data platforms.

• Experience working with datasets in the healthcare or recruitment industries.
