Senior Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the sales team to acquire and enhance business relationships with new and existing end-user customers, as well as Cloud and Hosting Providers.

• Perform web-based and on-site demonstrations of the Veeam product portfolio, offering training, enablement, and taking part in joint meetings.

• Provide pre-sales support and on-site assistance to clients during their evaluation of Veeam software.

• Develop and sustain strong relationships with customers and strategic alliance partners in conjunction with sales colleagues.

• Participate in and contribute to Veeam marketing events.

• Execute Product Proof of Concepts (POCs) for customers.

• Prepare Bills of Materials (B.O.M) and RFPs/RFQs according to customer requirements.

• Showcase new technologies and deliver training to both internal staff and customers.

• Proactively identify and qualify business opportunities.

• Provide technical compliance and perform competitive analysis of products within the solution.

• Have hands-on experience with Hypervisors and Cloud environments.

• Coordinate presales activities with customers, collaborating with Veeam Solution Architects, System Integrators, and Professional Services teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Engineer.

• Capable of engaging in business discussions with relevant stakeholders, including C-Level executives.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.

• Comfortable presenting to groups, whether remotely or in person.

• Expected to travel up to 50% of the time.

• A self-starter with the ability to quickly grasp new technologies.

• Experience in client interactions for requirement gathering and understanding existing infrastructure.

• Proficient in VMware, Nutanix AHV, RedHat, and Microsoft virtualization technologies in large-scale environments.

• Familiar with Microsoft Azure and AWS, with the ability to discuss and position Cloud technologies.
