This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee and coordinate all technical elements of the project, encompassing planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Create and implement system build strategies that take into account software architecture, information security, and hardware deployment.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to provide technical insights into the overall project timeline, budget, resource needs, and risk management.
• Facilitate engineering workshops on topics such as system design, data conversion, business process evaluations, testing and validation strategies, and change management.
• Install and configure OSI Monarch advanced distribution management applications.
• Design and set up SCADA/GMS/EMS/ADMS/OMS systems tailored to the specific requirements of our clients.
• Deploy and integrate SCADA/GMS/EMS/ADMS/OMS systems with various equipment and software.
• Offer training and support to clients throughout and after the implementation phase.
• Work in partnership with project teams and other stakeholders to guarantee the successful execution of the project.
• Conduct system and acceptance testing alongside end customers.
• Validate and test system configurations to ensure compliance with client specifications and industry standards, including NERC CIP.
• Create scripts and other solutions to facilitate integration with third-party systems.
• Identify and resolve any challenges that arise during the implementation phase.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in the field and ensure systems are deployed in line with industry best practices.
• Travel to client locations to work directly with customers for successful delivery, testing, and system integration.
• Assist in developing proposals, work plans, budgets, and schedules for service opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of combined experience in project management and the implementation and consulting of utility systems software.
• Proven experience in engaging with clients to understand their relationships and priorities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual abilities.
• Capability to function as part of a team in organizing, leading, planning, and executing large-scale projects from the initial concept to implementation.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adjust work efforts based on client business objectives.
• Familiarity with project integration lifecycle and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills, and customer service proficiency.
• Competence in leading and facilitating workshops that cover the entire project lifecycle.
• Ability to work with new technologies and tools as project requirements dictate (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, OneNote).
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workday independently.
• Experience in creating work estimates, staffing plans, and project proposals of varying scale and complexity.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 50% of the time to client project sites.
• Experience and readiness to work on projects that may not be related to ADMS/OMS, with appropriate training provided.
• Installation and configuration experience with OSI Monarch advanced distribution management applications, including Distribution Power Flow (DPF), Fault Location Isolation & Service Restoration (FLISR), and Volt/VAR Control & Optimization (VVC/VVO).
• Familiarity with GIS building tools and models.
• Experience configuring Maven, Leitmotif, and eMAP.
