Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Engage in hands-on development tasks: plan, design, write, build, test, and commit software for cloud-based systems enhanced by AI tools.

• Lead and participate in the architecture and design of software across various cloud platforms.

• Actively collaborate with team members during agile standups, code reviews, and discussions regarding software processes.

• Partner with team leads and business leaders to draft and monitor user stories that accurately capture requirements.

• Provide support to developers at all levels, leading by example, offering mentorship, and functioning as a collaborative team member.

• Execute additional work-related tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a Business-related field.

• At least 6 years of professional experience in software development.

• Familiarity with Windows and Linux is advantageous.

• Proficient in C# and .NET / .NET Core.

• Skilled in TypeScript and JavaScript.

• Knowledge of C / C++ is a plus.

• Experience with Angular 20+ is a plus.

• Proficiency in SQL and/or NoSQL document database technologies.

• Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure is a plus): services, functions, APIs, databases, service bus, queues, and IoT platforms.

• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Python).

• Experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude, or other AI tools.

• Strong communication skills paired with excellent organizational abilities.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Advanced knowledge of Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.
