Media Finance Analyst – Systems Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Media Finance Operations: Facilitate comprehensive financial processes including media billing, invoicing, vendor payment reconciliations, and client funding cash applications for global brands.

• System Optimization: Function as the expert on the Mediaocean platform (Prisma, Spectra), adjusting system settings, workflows, and templates to align with international standards and enhance processing efficiency.

• Data Integration & Integrity: Oversee and ensure smooth data transitions between Mediaocean and Deltek Maconomy ERP, confirming the consistency of master data (clients, vendors, campaigns) and addressing any integration challenges.

• Cross-Functional Partnering: Act as the primary operational link between agency finance teams, central Shared Services (AP/AR), and IT, offering system training and assisting in the onboarding of new agencies into standardized processes.

• Reporting & Month-End Support: Create and evaluate media financial reports that detail spending trends, revenue status, and variances, while aiding in month-end closing activities.

• Governance & Audit Compliance: Guarantee strict compliance with internal financial controls, SOX regulations, and audit protocols, maintaining accurate SOPs and desktop procedures.

• Automation & Transformation: Collaborate with transformation teams to introduce workflow automations, exception-based processing models, and AI-driven anomaly detection for billing validation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.

• Professional Experience: 2–5+ years of focused experience in agency media finance operations, financial systems support, or a centralized corporate Shared Services (SSC/BPO) setting.

• Niche Software Expertise: Direct, hands-on experience with administrative or advanced operations in Mediaocean platforms (Prisma or Spectra).

• Financial Literacy: Comprehensive understanding of fundamental accounting frameworks, including multi-currency billing, extensive reconciliations, and AP/AR workflows.

• Data Analysis Capabilities: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel with a demonstrated ability to reconcile, manipulate, and analyze large data sets across disparate systems.
