
Senior Systems Analyst, Data Migration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the entire cycle of data migrations for various customer projects (from discovery to mapping, transformation, validation, and go-live).
• Serve as the key technical liaison for clients, steering data strategy, identifying risks, and managing expectations.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and other Professional Services teams to gather data requirements, deliver data analyses to aid in software configuration, and accurately map data to fulfill customer specifications.
• Examine and validate extensive, intricate datasets utilizing advanced SQL techniques.
• Construct and implement ETL/ELT processes using tools such as SSIS, Talend, Informatica, or similar technologies.
• Formulate data mapping logic, transformation rules, and validation strategies.
• Detect and address data quality challenges through profiling, cleansing, and root cause analysis.
• Work with various file formats (CSV, Excel) to facilitate data exchange.
• Organize and carry out cutover activities, including coordination for go-live and validation sign-off.
• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and guarantee accurate data delivery.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the enhancement of migration processes and standards.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data migration, warehousing, systems analysis, or ETL-centric roles.
• Demonstrated capability to handle multiple large migrations simultaneously.
• Proficient in advanced SQL (complex queries, joins, performance tuning).
• Practical experience with ETL/ELT tools, with a preference for SSIS.
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills—capable of explaining technical concepts without resorting to jargon.
• Familiarity with data dictionaries, source to target mapping, and relational database principles.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong problem-solving approach.
• Experience with AI for data analysis, validation, or development is a plus.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
