Senior System Software Engineer – Performance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and enhance software for our advanced SoCs.

• Analyze architectural performance limitations for various system-wide workloads.

• Determine HW/SW policies to promote leadership in performance and efficiency per watt.

• Create and present architecture and analysis documents to both internal and external stakeholders regarding our technology.

• Conduct competitive analysis comparing uArchitecture and workload performance metrics on NVIDIA's ARM SoCs with emerging processors from other silicon manufacturers.

• Advocate for and implement full-stack adoption of performance enhancements and best practices across NVIDIA software products and open-source software SDKs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Over 6 years of pertinent experience in computer architecture or software development.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a strong sense of ownership in previous projects.

• Practical technical experience and proven success in environments involving complex software and hardware designs.

• In-depth knowledge of multicore hardware, operating systems design, concurrency, virtual memory, caching, interrupts, device drivers, and real-time programming.

• Excellent skills in performance analysis, data evaluation, and performance optimization.
