Senior System Analyst – Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Analyze business scenarios and product requirements while engaging with international partners and customers.

• Design innovative features and develop functional specifications.

• Assess the backward compatibility of product modifications and ensure alignment of requirements with stakeholders.

• Oversee the complete implementation of features from start to finish.

• Decompose requirements into development tasks and manage implementation specifics.

• Collaborate with external service providers, including payment processors.

• Work in close partnership with developers, QA engineers, and technical writers.

• Validate the features that have been implemented against specifications and conduct acceptance testing.

• Create test plans and test scenarios, taking into account edge cases such as data migration, invalid data, and high load situations.

• Assist with maintenance tasks, including addressing support requests and confirming bug fixes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in system analysis and crafting functional specifications.

• More than 3 years of experience in payment processing and third-party integrations.

• Extensive experience in drafting functional documentation in English.

• Proven experience collaborating closely with developers and business users.

• Experience in acceptance testing and developing test scenarios.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to organize and convey complex information effectively.

• Excellent prioritization skills and a results-oriented approach.

• Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities.

• Proficient in English.
