This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Address intricate customer challenges through systematic troubleshooting utilizing expert knowledge of SAP applications functionality and technology.
• Deliver L4-level support for SAP PI/PO and CPI environments.
• Evaluate, troubleshoot, and rectify interface failures, performance problems, and data discrepancies.
• Support and manage integrations between SAP ECC / S/4HANA, SAP Cloud applications, and external systems.
• Engage with SAP CPI iFlows, adapters, and monitoring tasks.
• Conduct comprehensive end-to-end interface assessments.
• Create and refine ABAP-based integrations.
• Manage incident, problem, and advisory cases in accordance with SLA.
• Take part in customer calls and root cause analysis discussions.
• Offer mentorship and support to junior engineers.
• Ensure thorough documentation of solutions, root cause analysis, and best practices.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 10 years of extensive SAP experience.
• More than 10 years of practical experience with SAP PI/PO and Fiori/ABAP.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP PI/PO: Architecture (dual-stack & single-stack).
• Significant experience with SAP CPI: iFlow development and support.
• Proficient ABAP debugging skills, particularly for integration scenarios.
• Familiarity with IDocs, RFCs, ABAP Proxies, BAPIs.
• Ability to analyze backend dumps and performance challenges.
• Knowledge of OData services and SAP Gateway.
• Skill in troubleshooting Fiori-related integration challenges.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in English communication; additional languages are a plus.
