This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• In your role as Key User, you will oversee the supply, production, and inventory planning modules of our Advanced Planning System (APS). You will track planning parameters, master data, and system configurations while collaborating closely with IT to enhance the system continuously.
• You will assist in the deployment and ongoing enhancement of our APS, contribute to functional design, establish functional requirements, support implementation, and evaluate the value provided by the implemented solutions.
• You will create and document the end-to-end operational model for our supply planning processes, which includes constraint-based planning rules, planning fences, exception logic, and frozen-window policies.
• You will manage inventory policy frameworks, encompassing service policies, inventory segmentation, safety stock targets, and replenishment parameters, translating these into playbooks and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• You will establish supply planning KPIs (such as service level, plan adherence, capacity utilization, inventory turns, SLOB, and schedule adherence), create dashboards and reports, analyze supply and planning deviations, and provide actionable recommendations for operational teams and management.
• You will conduct scenario analyses, support training and capability development, ensure high standards in master data management, and identify opportunities for optimization between established processes and operational planning.
• You possess 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in supply, production, or inventory planning, preferably within the FMCG, manufacturing, or consumer goods sectors.
• You have substantial experience with an Advanced Planning System such as o9, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or a similar solution; experience as a Key User or in system configuration is a plus.
• You have a solid understanding of supply planning principles, including RCCP, MRP, and MPS logics, constraint-based planning, inventory optimization, and replenishment strategies.
• You are proficient in Excel and at least one BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or a comparable solution.
• You are capable of documenting processes clearly and converting data into actionable recommendations for planning and operational teams.
• You communicate effectively with various stakeholders, work methodically, and actively contribute to a cross-functional Center of Excellence that establishes and evolves planning standards.
