Senior Supply Chain Business Analyst / Consultant

📋 Description

• Assist in comprehensive presales activities for technology engagements and Supply Chain transformation.

• Contribute to the development of proposals, RFP/RFI responses, solution narratives, effort estimates, assumptions, and delivery strategies.

• Collaborate with sales, practice leaders, solution architects, and delivery teams to craft persuasive client proposals.

• Develop client-facing materials including presentations, solution decks, offering documents, business case papers, and executive discussion tools.

• Aid in the creation of new supply chain service offerings, accelerators, frameworks, and reusable consulting resources.

• Engage in client meetings, discovery workshops, demonstrations, and solution presentations.

• Lead or assist in requirements gathering sessions with client business representatives across various supply chain functions.

• Evaluate current business processes to identify gaps, pain points, risks, and areas for enhancement.

• Convert business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, business rules, and solution specifications.

• Perform fit-gap analysis between business requirements and technology capabilities.

• Assist in defining future-state processes, operating models, and solution architectures.

• Facilitate communication among business users, product teams, technical teams, implementation partners, and leadership stakeholders.

• Work with solution architects and technical teams to design data-driven supply chain planning and execution solutions.

• Assist in discussions about configuration, functional design, integration needs, data requirements, testing, and deployment strategies.

• Help establish KPIs, dashboards, reports, and analytics needs for supply chain visibility and strategic decision-making.

• Support UAT planning, test case creation, defect management, and business validation efforts.

• Ensure that proposed solutions are in line with business goals, industry standards, and technology capabilities.

• Offer domain expertise during implementation, transformation, and continuous improvement projects.

• Conduct client discussions with clarity and structure, particularly concerning business processes, requirements, and solution alternatives.

• Cultivate strong relationships with client stakeholders across business, IT, operations, and leadership teams.

• Lead workshops, design sessions, process reviews, and executive presentations.

• Clearly communicate complex business and technology concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Manage conflicting stakeholder priorities and aid in decision-making through organized analysis and recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, supply chain transformation, or technology implementation roles.

• Significant experience in supply chain domains such as planning, procurement, logistics & transportation, manufacturing, inventory, warehousing, or order management.

• Background in supporting or leading client-facing consulting projects.

• Practical experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, fit-gap analysis, solution documentation, and stakeholder management.

• Experience in presales activities, proposals, RFP responses, solution presentations, or consulting services.

• Previous experience working with cross-functional teams in business, IT, architecture, data, analytics, AI, and delivery roles.

• Experience in supply chain digital transformation, planning transformation, ERP transformation, or analytics-driven supply chain improvement initiatives.

• Strong knowledge in one or more supply chain areas: Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sales & Operations Planning / Integrated Business Planning, Inventory Optimization, Production Planning and Scheduling, Procurement and Supplier Collaboration, Distribution and Replenishment Planning, Logistics and Transportation Management, Warehouse Management, Order Management and Fulfillment, Network Planning and Supply Chain Design, Supply Chain Control Tower and Visibility, Master Data Management for Supply Chain.
