Senior Supplier Quality Engineer – Large Forged Parts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure quality standards for designated suppliers, including the execution of quality plans.

• Work collaboratively with Engineering and Sourcing teams to choose and authorize suppliers through the approval and qualification processes.

• Take responsibility for supplier evaluations and the results of part/process qualifications.

• Lead enhancements by utilizing supplier scorecards.

• Manage ongoing supplier audits and monitor compliance, implementing improvement plans as necessary.

• Engage in Design Reviews to enhance the manufacturability of new designs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent practical experience.

• Strong technical aptitude.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Proficient project management skills.

• Expertise in commodities such as materials, forging, and non-destructive examination techniques including ultrasonic testing.

• Extensive and demonstrable experience in Sourcing, Engineering, and Manufacturing.

• Significant and proven experience in Supplier Quality or a related field.

• Proficiency in English.

• Willingness to travel as needed, up to 50% of the time, to drive strategy and assist in problem-solving at supplier locations.
