This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Ensure that Westinghouse's technical and quality standards are met through your supplier oversight activities.
• Create and execute Supplier Oversight Plans to manage the completion of critical document submissions, manufacturing tasks, surveillance (witness and hold) points, inspections, and testing, ensuring vendor adherence to essential requirements.
• Coordinate the efforts of Westinghouse functions that drive supplier performance, including Supply Chain (buyers and category managers), Design Engineering, and Supplier Quality Oversight.
• Identify and escalate any supplier-related issues, risks, and quality events.
• Enhance the timely resolution of issues by orchestrating activities, issuing communications, and identifying partners to ensure swift identification of affected products, resolution of issues, and execution of corrective actions.
• Track key supplier performance metrics such as On-Time Delivery, Quality issues, and Deviation Notices for assigned suppliers.
• Assess procurement (supplier) risks by gathering partner input and utilizing resources to develop supply risk mitigation strategies.
• Supervise both internal and external (supplier) corrective action requests, conducting root cause analyses and verifying the implementation of preventive and corrective actions.
• Conduct technical assessments of our suppliers to evaluate their manufacturing capabilities, capacities, process controls, and compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering.
• At least 4 years of progressive experience in engineering/manufacturing.
• Manufacturing manager experience is preferred.
• Experience in the Electrical Equipment, Nuclear, or related industries is preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, such as machining (turning, milling), welding, forming, mechanical assembly, NDE, inspection, and testing.
• Experience conducting process capability analysis (Cpk) and qualification.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing and Quality Plans, PFMEAs.
• Experience in authoring technical documentation or operating procedures.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications created to ASME standards.
• Experience with nuclear products and standards is desirable.
