This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Designs and leads financial management initiatives that integrate financial, operational, and business strategies to achieve measurable outcomes.
• Collaborates with the business to introduce essential processes and tools that promote transparency, teamwork, and disciplined decision-making, while evaluating effectiveness through the monitoring of key metrics.
• Provides effective advice and influences the business on various operational matters, spearheading positive internal changes.
• Develops innovative solutions and alternatives for complex challenges, applying a broad perspective in decision-making.
• Highly regarded by the business for offering extensive consultation and expertise.
• Demonstrated experience in analyzing and impacting operational efficiency initiatives (e.g., benchmarking, Lean methodologies, structured problem-solving, etc.).
• Constructs intricate financial models and analyses utilizing advanced analytical techniques and financial systems.
• Communicates complex and/or intricate issues with a high level of proficiency, including the ability to identify and convey key business concerns in a way that resonates with the audience.
• Guides junior analysts and aids in educating leadership and management on strategic finance topics such as cost-benefit analysis, return on investment, resource evaluation, and cost competitiveness.
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in a client-focused finance partner or finance consultant position.
• Proven capability to collect and analyze data, conduct financial and strategic analyses, and develop business cases that narrate a story and provide actionable recommendations.
