Chief Financial Officer, CFO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Lead the financial strategy for the enterprise and manage the Finance and Medical Economics departments.

• Oversee financial operations, including accounting, reporting, auditing, and budgeting processes.

• Collaborate with executive leadership to create and execute financial initiatives.

• Evaluate financial performance to guide strategic and operational decision-making.

• Keep track of market trends, particularly in managed care and developments related to value-based care.

• Guide the development and performance management of finance leadership personnel.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance, which must include 18 semester hours of accounting coursework from a recognized accredited institution.

• A minimum of seven (7) years of progressive accounting experience and financial management, which includes six (6) years of supervisory experience and four (4) years in a managed care (MCO) health plan environment.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Must reside in North Carolina.

• Ability to travel within the designated catchment area as necessary.

• Certification as a Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
