Senior Strategic Account Manager – Banking, Financial Services, IT, Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish robust relationships while managing a healthy P&L for the existing portfolio of accounts within our Direct, SOW & MSP domains.

• Create an efficient sales strategy aimed at meeting or surpassing sales targets by exploring new opportunities, categories, and clients.

• Collaborate with senior management on new initiatives and programs designed to stimulate growth.

• Develop strategies to explore innovative methods for achieving team objectives.

• Identify and collaborate with the proposal team to address and complete RFIs and RFPs.

• Conduct regular onsite client visits to build rapport and foster enduring, beneficial relationships.

• Participate in community networking events to establish additional business connections.

• Collaborate with hiring leaders, department heads, stakeholders, decision-makers, and procurement teams.

• Regularly monitor customer satisfaction through quality metrics and client scorecards.

• Serve as the primary point of escalation for all current clients.

• Stay informed about industry trends and identify new growth opportunities for your portfolio.

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in work or education.

• Over 10 years of experience in Strategic Account Management and Business Development.

• More than 7 years of experience supporting financial services, IT, and insurance clients.

• At least 5 years of experience with Direct, SOW, and MSP-based clients in the commercial sector.

• Proficient in sourcing, qualifying, and completing RFI/RFPs.

• Experience in developing sales automation systems and processes, while leveraging advanced technologies and AI for task automation and outreach.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

• Leadership – Ability to set and implement a clear vision, strategy, and goals.

• Growth and Development – Capable of understanding or learning what is necessary to achieve results and compete successfully.

• Must be technologically savvy and current with the latest technologies and recruitment trends.
