
Senior Strategic Account Executive, Urban School Districts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement strategic account plans for key urban school districts across the Southeast region.
• Create new business prospects and enhance existing strategic partnerships with districts.
• Manage intricate, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales processes from initial contact to contract finalization.
• Establish trusted relationships with Superintendents, Chief Academic Officers, Chief Financial Officers, Federal Programs Directors, Student Services leaders, School Boards, and other district executives.
• Act as a strategic consultant on district initiatives focused on student achievement and academic recovery.
• Provide executive-level presentations, proposals, and consultative recommendations.
• Position evidence-based academic solutions that support MTSS frameworks, Tier 2 interventions, high-dosage tutoring, learning acceleration, and academic recovery initiatives.
• Collaborate with district leaders to align solutions with their strategic priorities and goals for student outcomes.
• Identify funding opportunities at the district, state, federal, grant, and supplemental levels.
• Craft competitive proposals and responses to RFPs.
• Navigate procurement regulations and district purchasing procedures.
• Keep accurate sales forecasts and manage the CRM pipeline effectively.
• Work alongside Customer Success and Implementation teams to ensure successful onboarding, sustained district success, and account growth.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• Over 7 years of experience in enterprise, education, public sector, or consultative sales.
• Demonstrated success in closing large, complex, multi-stakeholder sales deals.
• Experience in selling services or solutions to K–12 school districts.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships and influence senior decision-makers.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling abilities.
• Experience with responding to RFPs and managing public procurement processes.
• Strong skills in strategic account planning and territory management.
• Familiarity with district initiatives such as Tier 2 interventions, learning acceleration, literacy and math achievement, chronic absenteeism reduction, graduation improvement, and student outcome initiatives.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Southeast region.
• Ability to balance the development of long-term relationships with immediate revenue objectives.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively across Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation teams.
