This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Oversee the complete global equity and ESPP lifecycle operations (grant processing, RSU vesting/settlements, stock option exercises, cancellations, ESPP enrollment/purchases) to ensure flawless execution and an exceptional participant experience.
• Design, execute, and automate stock plan workflows across various systems (Workday, ADP, Fidelity) to enhance efficiency and eliminate manual errors.
• Establish a robust internal control framework and conduct thorough equity reconciliations to guarantee 100% data integrity and ongoing SOX compliance.
• Collaborate strategically with Legal, Finance, and Corporate Tax to facilitate Section 16 filings, resolve complex data discrepancies, and accurately model stock-based compensation expenses (ASC 718).
• Navigate global regulatory updates and tax mobility frameworks to proactively ensure international compliance while minimizing tax and legal risks.
• Act as a subject-matter expert on DO’s stock plans, partnering with executive stakeholders to prepare materials for the Compensation Committee and proxy equity tables.
• Create and implement scalable employee equity education programs (webinars, FAQs, etc.) to clarify complex equity structures and enhance the perceived value of Total Rewards.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex equity and ESPP programs at a global, fast-scaling, publicly-traded technology company.
• Proficient in Fidelity PSW and a Certified Equity Professional (CEP) Level 3 designation are highly preferred.
• Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, complex logic formulas, xlookup/vlookup) with an unwavering commitment to error-free execution.
• A solid history of addressing complex, ambiguous data challenges across multi-system environments and developing scalable, automated compliance solutions.
• The capability to convey intricate financial narratives in a straightforward manner, foster cross-departmental alignment, and act as a trusted resource for employees.
