Market Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• The On and Off Premise Market Manager role is accountable for implementing the company's strategic initiatives in both on-and off-premise locations within the Greater San Diego and Inland Empire regions.

• This position involves executing strategies at the field level across on- and off-premise accounts, necessitating the ability to assess, implement, and carry out programs aligned with our brand strategies.

• Lead, instruct, and oversee local distributor sales teams effectively.

• Ensure compliance with brand policies, achieve distribution goals, and facilitate promotional activities.

• Cultivate robust working relationships with key accounts in both on-and off-premise sectors within the designated area.

• Collaborate with significant local events and engage where opportunities align with our strategy, including executing national initiatives in your local market.

• Submit a monthly market activity report to the Regional Manager detailing objectives, achievements, competitive activities, special projects, and any specific requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.

• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the distilled spirits or wine supplier industry.

• Strong analytical abilities, particularly in gathering data from diverse sources and presenting it in formats suitable for various audiences.

• Understanding of the principles and methods for showcasing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategies, product demonstrations, sales techniques, and sales control systems.

• Effective managerial skills and strong presentation capabilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Superior interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
