This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Utilize extensive expertise across various specialized areas of cyber threat intelligence, including threat actor analysis, advanced persistent threats, critical infrastructure risks, intelligence fusion, and large-scale automation.
• Lead and contribute to strategic objectives and principles of the company pertaining to cyber threat intelligence.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen the organization's security framework.
• Analyze significant and unique challenges in threat intelligence, including attacker intent, geopolitical ramifications, and long-term campaign goals.
• Choose and modify methodologies, techniques, and evaluation criteria for innovative and complex challenges.
• Oversee critical threat intelligence projects and initiatives that impact security functions and business operations.
• Build and nurture intelligence-sharing networks with both internal teams and external entities.
• Provide thought leadership on cybersecurity initiatives and strategic direction.
• Generate strategic reports, executive briefings, presentations, and other intelligence outputs.
• Act as an internal subject matter expert on intricate cyber threat intelligence subjects.
• Mentor and guide fellow intelligence analysts.
• Develop and execute innovative methodologies, tools, and processes for threat intelligence.
• Anticipate future threat trends and formulate intelligence strategies accordingly.
• Lead complex analytical models and frameworks to comprehend and forecast cyber threats.
• Over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong emphasis on cyber threat intelligence or closely related fields.
• Profound understanding of the cyber threat landscape, encompassing threat actors, attack vectors, and emerging threats.
• Significant experience in establishing and utilizing formal networks across diverse groups.
• Proven ability to provide thought leadership and contribute to broader organizational initiatives.
• Experience in analyzing malware, network traffic, and vulnerabilities to extract techniques and indicators of compromise.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs), SIEM systems, and other relevant security tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in mentoring and offering expert guidance to fellow analysts.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and data analysis tools is highly desirable.
• Comprehensive understanding of security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and Kill Chain.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
• Willingness to be on call during critical incidents and non-traditional hours.
• Relevant certifications such as GCTI, GCIA, or GCIH are advantageous.
