Cloud Security Analyst – Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Direct the analysis, containment, and response to security incidents, with a focus on native AWS cloud environments.

• Develop, enhance, and automate incident response playbooks and security measures.

• Establish, monitor, and report on operational metrics related to security and response effectiveness (SOC/SecOps).

• Assist in the evaluation and ongoing enhancement of policies, procedures, and incident response plans based on post-incident analysis.

• Create automations for operational tasks and technical investigations to improve security process efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in incident response and security operations within cloud environments, particularly AWS.

• Skilled in automating workflows using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Proficient in operating and configuring security tools such as SIEM and EDR.

• Knowledge of WAF, CSPM, DLP, CASB, or IDS/IPS technologies.

• Hands-on experience with security frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK or NIST CSF.

• Familiarity with Git and version control for code/scripts related to automation.

• Experience in integrating and orchestrating incident responses through SOAR solutions.

• Understanding or practical experience in digital forensics within cloud environments.

• Development of custom scripts for monitoring and threat hunting activities.

• Engage in security management and automation within CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).

• Involvement in the execution or assessment of controls for compliance and certifications such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law).
