Senior Staff Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• AI-Driven Sewer Inspection: Develop systems that utilize computer vision and machine learning to automatically detect defects and assess conditions during video inspections.

• Geospatial Analysis: Create tools for mapping and analyzing sewer infrastructure, incorporating real-time risk assessments.

• Workflow Orchestration: Build robust data processing pipelines using Temporal.io for extensive video analysis.

• Real-Time Dashboards: Construct interactive React frontends featuring mapping, data visualization, and video playback functionalities.

• API Development: Design and implement scalable TypeScript APIs to serve municipal agencies and contractors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in full-stack development.

• Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript with modern frameworks.

• Strong database skills with PostgreSQL and complex query capabilities.

• Experience in API design with REST and real-time systems.

• Familiarity with cloud deployment, preferably on AWS.

• A problem-solving mindset with a keen attention to detail.

• A collaborative approach to working within a team environment.

• Bonus Points: Experience with geospatial data or GIS systems, a background in computer vision or image processing, knowledge of the municipal/infrastructure domain, contributions to open-source projects, and experience with workflow orchestration systems.
