Senior Staff Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deliver highly scalable, available, and fault-tolerant production applications.

• Assist in preventing and investigating production issues.

• Design architecture, influence the product roadmap, and assume ownership and responsibility for new projects.

• Conduct code and design reviews to ensure smooth daily operations and precise planning.

• Engage in the complete application lifecycle, with an emphasis on coding and debugging.

• Write clean code to create functional applications.

• Identify system bottlenecks and enhance performance.

• Lead developers, collaborating with designers and product owners to pinpoint new features.

• Manage innovative technologies to upgrade legacy applications.

• Gather and fulfill technical and design requirements.

• Set up and maintain environment configurations while monitoring system health.

• Provide training and support to internal teams.

• Contribute as a Technical Team Lead by mentoring peers, leading sprint planning, delegating tasks to team members, and participating in project planning.

• Introduce and improve tools to enhance automation and operability of services.

• Interface with customers and other business stakeholders to effectively deliver software products that meet their needs.

• Establish and uphold standards for the engineering organization.

• Respond promptly to on-call incidents, including troubleshooting and resolving critical disruptions to ensure minimal downtime.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience; or 10 years and an advanced degree.

• Requires at least 12 years of software development experience; or 8 years with an advanced degree.

• Exceptional programming skills in C#, with proven experience as a full stack developer.

• Extensive experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular, along with HTML and CSS.

• Experience in mobile application development, utilizing Native SDK or cross-platform frameworks like Flutter.

• Comprehensive understanding of the entire software development process (design, development, and deployment).

• Significant experience in developing and deploying applications for Cloud Native Infrastructure.

• Experience in building applications using a microservices architecture with an API-first approach.

• Excellent analytical and time management skills, with a proven ability to deliver cross-organization impact independently.

• Advanced experience in building and deploying applications with Kubernetes.

• Advanced knowledge of OpenTelemetry.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience providing technical input.

• Proven ability to work cross-functionally, with experience in planning and leading complex technical projects that involve multiple teams within the organization.
