This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Configure, maintain, and provide support for Workday HCM modules in accordance with business requirements.
• Lead the configuration, maintenance, enhancement, and support functions for Workday HCM modules.
• Serve as a functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Workday HCM and associated HR business processes.
• Configure and support Core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Organization Management, and various other Workday functional modules.
• Collaborate with HR, business stakeholders, IT teams, and leadership to gather requirements and design effective Workday solutions.
• Analyze business processes and propose system enhancements to optimize Workday functionalities and operational efficiency.
• Ensure that Workday configurations are in line with business goals, compliance standards, and organizational policies.
• Oversee Workday release management activities, which include impact assessments, testing, validation, and deployment support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve intricate functional, configuration, and system-related challenges.
• Create and maintain comprehensive functional and technical documentation, including business requirements, configuration documents, test plans, process flows, and user guides.
• Monitor new Workday features and advocate for the adoption of relevant functionalities and best practices.
• Manage multiple Workday projects, enhancements, and support tasks while ensuring timely project delivery.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior consultants and team members.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, solution reviews, and user training sessions.
• Effectively communicate technical and functional concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with IT leadership to ensure Workday solutions are aligned with the overall technology strategy of the organization.
• Support Agile project delivery methodologies and engage in planning, testing, and implementation activities.
• A minimum of 9 years of total experience.
• Extensive experience in Workday HCM configuration, maintenance, and support.
• Strong functional expertise in Workday HCM modules and corresponding business processes.
• Practical experience with Core HCM, Compensation, Organization Management, and Employee Lifecycle Management.
• Advanced Compensation experience is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable Workday solutions.
• Solid understanding of Workday business processes, security concepts, organizational structures, and configuration best practices.
• Experience in leading Workday enhancements, releases, testing, and production support initiatives.
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities at once.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex functional issues.
• Experience in creating and maintaining both functional and technical documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and business leaders.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the capacity to mentor, coach, and develop team members.
• Familiarity with Agile development and project delivery environments.
• Workday HCM Certification is preferred.
• Experience in supporting global HR processes and enterprise-scale Workday environments is a plus.
• Availability to work during overlapping US/UK business hours, with a preferred shift of 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST.
