This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, design, and develop cutting-edge algorithms for effective task allocation, scheduling, and temporal sequencing of diverse teams of autonomous vehicles (including land, air, and others).

• Enhance and optimize existing C++ based mission planning software to ensure compatibility across various vehicle types and computing platforms.

• Collaborate with engineers, program managers, and product managers to establish a technical roadmap for future autonomy solutions and SDK offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a PhD with graduate studies in Optimization or Operations Research, or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in similar fields.

• Proficient in Integer or Mixed Integer Linear Programming, Constraint Programming, Convex Optimization, Multi-Objective Optimization, and skilled in using established solvers like Gurobi, Google-OR, CPLEX, etc.

• Extensive experience in implementing algorithms using C++ and utilizing debuggers such as gdb for troubleshooting execution in a multi-threaded environment.
