This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Take charge of documentation as a system: overseeing the pipelines that create and publish it, the AI-enhanced workflows that produce drafts for human evaluation and refinement, the review and publishing process, and the underlying infrastructure.
• Drive the expansion of the existing docs-as-code framework and AI-supported documentation workflows into a comprehensive docs-as-AI-agents capability.
• Manage the documentation site and its publication as a software entity: including the docs-as-code repository, CI/CD publishing pipelines, build performance, and automated checks.
• Develop AI-augmented documentation workflows encompassing drafting, summarization, classification, consistency, staleness checks, and feedback loops that enhance generation quality over time.
• Produce reference documentation from source materials (OpenAPI and related specifications) and ensure documentation remains aligned with platform modifications.
• Reduce the barriers for internal contributors to publish their own documentation through the docs-as-code workflow.
• Oversee the cadence of release notes and customer communications with every platform release.
• Maintain the documentation style guide and ensure its functionality is not reliant on any single individual.
• 5+ years of experience managing documentation tools, content engineering, or developer documentation for a developer platform or enterprise B2B product.
• Proficiency in a scripting or web stack (such as Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript) along with a strong command of docs-as-code practices: Git, pull-request reviews, CI/CD, and a static-site or CMS publishing pipeline.
• Practical experience in developing AI-augmented or LLM-backed workflows: integrating LLM APIs, AI-assisted authoring, and structuring content for AI utilization.
• Capability to analyze and comprehend a real codebase and API surface well enough to document it accurately and build tools in relation to it.
• Strong editorial judgment: the ability to distill complex engineering changes into clear, accurate, and customer-safe documentation.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in making documentation accessible for AI agents (llms.txt, content negotiation, RAG pipelines, MCP servers).
• Background in BioPharma or scientific software, or within regulated and validated (GxP) environments.
• Experience in generating reference documentation from OpenAPI or related specifications with two-way Git synchronization.
• Exposure to developer relations or developer education.
• Competitive salary and equity in a rapidly growing company.
• Supportive, team-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement.
• Generous paid time off (PTO).
• Flexible working arrangements, including remote work opportunities.
