This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Thoroughly comprehend functional requirements and analyze the client's needs within the scope of the project.
• Conceptualize the comprehensive solution for specified functional and non-functional requirements, and identify appropriate technologies, patterns, and frameworks to implement it.
• Define and apply design methodologies and tool sets.
• Facilitate application development by coordinating requirements, timelines, and activities.
• Capable of leading or supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployments.
• Develop, comprehend, and validate Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and estimated efforts for specific modules/tasks, and provide justifications for them.
• Address issues swiftly, responding constructively to obstacles and challenges with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Provide constructive feedback to team members while establishing clear expectations.
• Assist the team in diagnosing and resolving complex bugs.
• Propose solutions to any concerns raised during code/design reviews and justify the decisions made.
• Execute Proofs of Concept (POCs) to ensure that proposed designs and technologies fulfill the requirements.
• Total experience: 8+ years.
• Must have hands-on SAP experience, including at least 3 years in an architect or lead consultant role.
• Practical experience in utilizing AI for code generation, code review, test-case generation, and documentation automation within SAP/ABAP and non-SAP environments is essential.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and agentic developer tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and SAP Joule.
• Familiarity with LLM orchestration and routing frameworks like LiteLLM, LangChain, or LlamaIndex for multi-model enterprise integration is required.
• Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, prompt engineering, and integrating LLMs with enterprise tools (Jira, ADO, SolMan, Confluence) is necessary.
• Exposure to RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines and vector stores (e.g., pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate) for enterprise knowledge applications is expected.
• In-depth understanding of SAP ECC 6 / EHP 8 architecture, ABAP development standards, transport management, and multi-tier release governance is essential.
• Working knowledge of SAP ChaRM and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan 7.2) is required.
• Strong grasp of SAP module integration (FI/CO, MM, SD, P2P) and interfacing with non-SAP systems via IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, PI/PO, or APIs is necessary.
• Proven experience in solution architecture, landscape design, and writing/reviewing High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) is essential.
