This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee, +1 more state.
β’ Overseeing the execution, upkeep, and thorough evaluation and analysis of models, studies, and systems utilizing actuarial principles.
β’ Creating complex models and instructing others on model development.
β’ Crafting written and verbal presentations to effectively convey information for decision-making processes.
β’ Managing daily projects that may involve non-Actuarial departments.
β’ Possessing a deep understanding of a specific actuarial domain or business segment.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics.
β’ Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and Membership in the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
β’ Minimum of 5 years of actuarial experience in the health insurance sector or a related field.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills to produce effective documentation, facilitate training and development, and engage in presentations.
β’ Proficiency in PC applications including Word and Excel.
β’ Preferred experience with Access, SQL, Visual Basic, or other programming skills.
β’ Experience with Medicare Part D is preferred.
