Senior Specialist, Subcontracts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate procurements, projects, and processes with general supervision.

• Source materials, components, and services at competitive prices while adhering to schedule, safety, and quality standards.

• Conduct price and cost analyses.

• Offer support for proposals.

• Issue supplier contracts for direct programs exceeding the TINA ($2M) threshold with minimal oversight.

• Collaborate with FAR/DFAR requirements.

• Manage high-value FAR/DFAR subcontracts that support Government programs.

• Negotiate contracts with sole-source suppliers worth multiple millions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant Contracts experience, or a graduate degree with a minimum of 4 years of related Contracts experience.

• Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of relevant Contracts experience in lieu of a degree.

• At least 4 years of experience in government procurement.

• Strong proficiency in supply chain management and procurement.

• Extensive experience in project management.

• Significant experience managing high-value FAR/DFAR subcontracts in direct support of Government programs.

• Proven experience in negotiating multi-million-dollar sole-source supplier contracts.

• Capability to work with FAR/DFAR requirements.

• Competence in issuing supplier contracts above the TINA ($2M) threshold with minimal guidance.
