
Senior Specialist, Project Scheduling and Project Controls in Plant Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.
• Preparation, development, and upkeep of integrated project schedules for intricate industrial and plant engineering projects throughout all project phases (from planning to execution).
• Coordination and integration of sub-schedules from all project stakeholders (engineering, procurement, construction, and external partners) into a unified master schedule.
• Implementation of schedule control, which includes analysis of project progress, critical paths, and deviations from the schedule baseline.
• Creation of schedule and progress reports along with communication of risks, opportunities, and recommended actions to project management and the project team.
• Assistance to project management in scheduling strategies, change management, and evaluating project impacts on milestones and the overall timeline.
• Application and further enhancement of Lean methods and best practices in schedule management to optimize project workflows.
• Facilitation of scheduling and control workshops, acting as the central point of contact for all scheduling matters within the project.
• Assurance of the quality, consistency, and traceability of all schedule-related data and documentation.
• A completed engineering degree (e.g., Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering) coupled with several years of professional experience in schedule management, preferably within industrial, plant engineering, or energy projects.
• Strong background in creating and managing complex project schedules and in project management methodologies such as the Critical Path Method (CPM).
• Preferred: experience in EPC/EPCM projects and collaboration with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Organized, independent, and analytical working style with a strong focus on solutions and the ability to maintain oversight in complex project scenarios.
• Excellent proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project), with experience in schedule control, reporting, and analysis of project KPIs.
• Very good German and proficient English language skills, confident use of MS Office, and readiness to travel as required by project needs.
