Senior Specialist – Inpatient IP Coding QA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Performing internal quality audits focused on inpatient medical coding to guarantee accuracy, compliance, and adherence to official coding standards.

• Detecting coding discrepancies, enhancing coding efficiency, and offering educational feedback to coders.

• Working in collaboration with operations and training teams to uphold high standards of coding quality and ensure compliance with payer policies and regulatory requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in inpatient medical coding, including exposure to various specialties.

• Possession of at least one relevant certification: CCS, CIC.

• In-depth understanding of CMS guidelines, MS-DRG/APR-DRG, and the Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS).

• Proficient in coding software such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, and 3M 360.
