Senior Specialist, Automotive Technical Support – Bil. FR/EN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist Mazda service technicians and staff in diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles.

• Offer remote technical support to service technicians.

• Direct technicians through diagnostic procedures and inspections.

• Support the Customer Assistance Centre and other departments at Mazda Canada by addressing technical inquiries from retailers and customers.

• Manage incoming calls to the Technical Hotline when technicians need immediate assistance.

• Validate technician diagnostic methods and authorize repairs for significant vehicle components and assemblies such as engines, transmissions, differentials, etc.

• Provide reports on quality control and vehicle safety to the factory engineering teams.

• Assist Field Technical staff to enhance and improve customer repair experiences at our retailers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of Post-Secondary Education in Automotive Service & Technical Programs or a related field.

• 3 to 5 years of technical experience with Mazda or in automotive repair.

• Bilingual in French and English is a must.

• Possession of a valid Canadian Driver’s License.

• Experience in diagnosing electrical and engine management systems.

• Knowledge of electric vehicle and rotary engine diagnostics.

• Proven experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring apprentices and technicians towards successful repair outcomes.

• Demonstrated ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues of varying complexity.

• Excellent communication skills; capable of collaborating effectively as part of a team, managing time efficiently, and organizing work priorities.

• Enthusiasm for high performance; motivates and supports colleagues to consistently achieve excellence.

• Strong technical, research, and communication abilities; solid business insight with the capability to contribute to the formulation and execution of strategic plans related to automotive service and repair.
