This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Identify, assess, and onboard top-tier, compliant vendor partners throughout Europe for HOME TEXTILES with swift production lead times.
• Ensure operational excellence in partner relations for existing suppliers in both current and new Quince categories, while broadening the supply base and enhancing Quince’s product costs, quality, and commercial conditions.
• Serve as an ambassador for our partners during all interactions, fostering and strengthening our relationships.
• Quickly present and onboard vendor partners, establishing clear onboarding standards and scalability objectives.
• Promote ongoing improvement by increasing successful launch rates (reviews, returns, sales) through product excellence and expedited development timelines.
• Negotiate commercial terms, including MOQs, pricing, capacity planning, and compliance.
• Assess mill capabilities and collaborate closely with internal product and quality teams to select the best partners.
• Manage mill partnerships and ensure a smooth transition of greige fabric to finished goods partners.
• Act as the sourcing lead for all home textiles from Europe, ensuring that quality, margin, and lead time KPIs are achieved.
• Develop scalable and diversified supply chains for each relevant product category (bedding, window treatments, table linens).
• Collaborate with factories to foster product innovation and shorten development lead times.
• Optimize raw material and finished goods development schedules to facilitate rapid testing and scaling.
• Work together with merchandising, planning, and tech design teams to ensure aligned objectives and seamless execution.
• Drive ongoing enhancements in supplier performance and cost efficiency.
• Over 8 years of experience in sourcing, production, or supply chain positions, ideally within bedding, linens, or comparable home categories.
• Profound understanding of fabric development, materials (such as cotton, linen, bamboo), filling materials, and craftsmanship.
• A strong network of European textile manufacturers and nominated mills is preferred.
• Proven track record of identifying and managing both mill and factory partners.
• Capability to formulate and implement a strategy for scaling a high-volume product line.
• Proficient in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Strong analytical abilities, including comfort with margin modeling, lead time analysis, and vendor scorecards.
• Exceptional cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Textiles, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel across Europe and the Middle East, particularly to vendors/factories in Turkey and Portugal.
