Senior Solutions Specialist, Drug and Occupational Health

📋 Description

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in drug and occupational health services, encompassing best practices, regulatory standards, and industry developments.

• Assist in client-facing initiatives, which include: Engaging in prospect and client discussions, Offering insights on program design and product selection, Clarifying capabilities, compliance requirements, and service options.

• Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Success, Sales, Operations) to: Provide expertise on complex client needs, Suggest solutions customized to client specifications, Aid in addressing escalations or unique circumstances, Deliver consultative advice to enhance client program efficiency, compliance, and overall satisfaction.

• Keep a robust understanding of: Federal and state drug screening regulations, Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines, Occupational health screening standards.

• Work with vendors, laboratories, collection sites, and third-party administrators to: Define capabilities and service offerings, Resolve service-related inquiries or issues, Ensure program alignment with client requirements.

• Engage in internal knowledge sharing by: Serving as a resource for team inquiries, Offering feedback on process enhancements and service improvements, Assisting with documentation or guidance materials as necessary.

• Remain updated on emerging trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to provide accurate and proactive guidance.

• Participate in relevant conferences, webinars, or industry events to sustain subject matter expertise.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Occupational Health, Medical, or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in drug and occupational health services within the background screening sector is required.

• Demonstrated experience in supporting client programs, ideally in a consultative or client-facing role.

• Advanced understanding of drug screening programs and methodologies.

• Familiarity with occupational health services.

• Knowledge of medical terminology.

• Strong comprehension of federal, state, and local compliance requirements.

• Understanding of DOT regulations.

• Ability to convert complex requirements into clear, client-friendly recommendations.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially in client-facing situations.

• Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Experience collaborating with vendors such as Laboratories, Collection sites, Third-party administrators, and Medical Review Offices.

• Capability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt to dynamic client needs.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
