• Develop and uphold a high level of expertise regarding the Geotab ecosystem, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to empower end-users and partners while enhancing their comprehension of Geotab solutions.
• Engage and collaborate with strategic partners and key end-users to optimize their use of Geotab's technology, products, and solutions, customizing approaches to meet their intricate and specific requirements.
• Work alongside Geotab's revenue-generating teams as a vital technical resource to identify and deliver effective solutions for customer challenges, closely cooperating with them and their partners, contributing to sales growth, ecosystem expansion, and customer retention.
• Propel revenue growth by transforming complex technical capabilities into measurable business value for prospective clients. Conduct thorough discovery and requirements analysis to create and present compelling technical demonstrations and pilots that resonate with customer needs and expedite deal closures.
• Ensure satisfaction for partners and end-users through timely and accurate service, enhancing internal team support by offering additional insights and know-how.
• Facilitate Geotab's partner upskilling, guiding them toward excellence to support customers across distinct channels, employing best practices, and leveraging a comprehensive understanding of industry verticals.
• Evaluate and analyze intricate partner and end-user business challenges, assessing Geotab’s viability and proposing alternative strategies when necessary.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the company's offerings by supplying partner and end-user feedback, providing opportunities for collaboration with Product.
• Maintain precise documentation and records of customer/partner interactions, complex solution designs, and deliverables by adhering to departmental processes and procedures.
• Manage high-impact projects and highly strategic customers/partners, working closely with partners, third-party integrators, and customers to ensure seamless implementation, deployment, and success.
• Create and contribute to processes and procedures, handle escalations, identify areas for improvement, and drive change.
• Mentor and support Solutions Engineers and other team members by sharing knowledge, expertise, and best practices to encourage skill development and professional advancement.
• 5–8 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Data Science, Technical Account Management, Engineering Support, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in a relevant technical field, such as software engineering, data analysis, or systems integration, with a focus on customer-facing roles.
• Expert-level technical knowledge and understanding of telematics, IoT, APIs, and related technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, Java, or C#, along with extensive experience in API integrations.
• Ability to work with Agile Work Management, Ticketing, and Customer Relationship Management tools like JIRA and Salesforce.
• Familiarity with data analysis techniques and tools, as well as data visualization tools like Superset or Power BI.
• Proven ability to maintain and expand technical knowledge to the level of a subject matter expert, with in-depth experience in the Geotab ecosystem.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate customer challenges and propose feasible solutions.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer support.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A customer-centric mindset, committed to understanding complex client needs and providing exceptional service.
• Advising on business impacts, a solid understanding of industry changes, trends, and emerging technologies, with the flexibility to adapt to evolving market demands.
• Ability to leverage market trends and a desire to drive revenue growth.
• Experience in sales or business development, particularly with indirect sales channels, with the capability to identify and pursue potential opportunities.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, able to manage multiple high-impact projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
