Senior Solutions Engineer – Enterprise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Serve as a strategic technical advisor and reliable partner to our Enterprise sales team and clients.

• Enhance sales productivity and customer engagement by providing extensive technical knowledge, customized demonstrations, and insights tailored to specific customers throughout the sales process.

• Develop solutions that connect 1Password’s offerings with the challenges and objectives of customers.

• Navigate intricate requirements, influence technical stakeholders, and effectively convey value from the initial discovery phase to closing.

• Work collaboratively across various functions, including Product, Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Support, to bolster customer-facing resources.

• Guide and mentor colleagues, sharing knowledge to elevate both technical capabilities and soft skills within the Solutions Engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in customer-facing technical sales positions within a B2B context.

• Demonstrated success in selling to Fortune-100 clients.

• Experience within a multi-product SaaS setting.

• Proven expertise in enterprise sales, with a strong ability to forge relationships, influence stakeholders, and assist in closing complex transactions.

• Proficient in converting technical ideas for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Excellent presentation, communication, and collaboration capabilities across sales, product, marketing, and support teams.

• Quick learner with the ability to adapt and manage dynamic customer discussions and requirements.

• Familiarity with modern sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC for opportunity qualification and deal advancement.

• High level of autonomy with the capability to oversee multiple projects, ensure quality, and meet deadlines.

• Willingness to mentor peers and share best practices to foster team development.

• Ability to travel up to 25%.

• Knowledge of SaaS, security concepts, and developer technologies such as SCIM, CLI, SAML/SSO/OAuth, AD, API, SSH, and AI (MCP).
