• Collaborate with Account Executives to identify customer pain points, infrastructure challenges, security vulnerabilities, and compliance needs.
• Create and present tailored technical demonstrations that highlight RapidFort’s solutions for vulnerability remediation, attack surface minimization, and software supply chain security.
• Facilitate technical discovery sessions with platform engineering, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Design and oversee customer proof-of-concept deployments in Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Deliver impactful technical presentations on RapidFort’s DevTime Protection Tools, Near-Zero CVE Images, and Runtime Protection features.
• Assist customers in hands-on evaluations and best practices for implementation within their cloud-native environments.
• Educate clients on container security, image hardening, vulnerability management, and mitigating software supply chain risks.
• Effectively communicate both technical and business value, emphasizing accelerated compliance readiness and reduced operational risks.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads and Docker applications during customer engagements.
• Review and provide guidance on Dockerfiles, Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, CI/CD pipelines, and container build processes.
• Support customers in implementing container security best practices throughout build, deployment, and runtime stages.
• Assist customers using Kubernetes platforms such as EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift, and Rancher.
• Utilize structured sales methodologies like MEDDPICC to qualify opportunities and navigate complex technical sales cycles.
• Establish credibility with technical decision-makers, security architects, platform engineers, and executive leadership.
• Convert technical capabilities into tangible business outcomes and ROI.
• Advise clients on vulnerability management strategies, software supply chain security, SBOMs, container hardening, and compliance frameworks like FedRAMP, CMMC, SOC 2, CIS, and STIG.
• Position RapidFort as a pivotal security platform that enhances compliance while minimizing operational overhead and developer friction.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud-native security threats, CVE trends, and competitive dynamics within the software supply chain security landscape.
• Provide product feedback based on client interactions to influence RapidFort’s future direction.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to enhance customer outcomes and accelerate adoption.
• Contribute to the development of technical content, solution architectures, and enablement resources.
• Over 7 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or similar customer-facing infrastructure/security roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production settings.
• Profound understanding of containerization, orchestration, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience in deploying and troubleshooting workloads across Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong knowledge of Docker image creation, optimization, multi-stage builds, and container lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes networking, RBAC, ingress, observability, and deployment methodologies.
• Proficient with Helm, Terraform, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD processes.
• Understanding of software supply chain security concepts, including SBOMs, image signing, provenance, and vulnerability scanning.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud.
• Solid Linux systems knowledge, along with proficiency in Bash scripting and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Awareness of container security challenges, CVE remediation workflows, and hardened container image strategies.
• Familiarity with contemporary cloud-native security tools such as Trivy, Wiz, Prisma Cloud, Aqua, Sysdig, Falco, or similar platforms.
• Prior experience in supporting regulated or compliance-driven environments is preferred.
• Proven success in supporting complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable leading technical workshops, architectural discussions, and live product demonstrations.
• Track record of effective operation in fast-paced startup or high-growth settings with shifting priorities and limited structure.
• Capable of balancing strategic customer engagement with practical technical execution.
