Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the expanding sales team to pinpoint merchant challenges and advise them on the value of Primer.

• Offer technical expertise to the sales team to aid in business development efforts.

• Convert business requirements into technical solutions while simplifying complex technical concepts for better understanding.

• Facilitate client interactions through discovery sessions, solution design workshops, product demonstrations, and developer Q&A sessions.

• Support merchants from the pre-sales stage to successful go-live and ramp-up, ensuring a seamless end-to-end integration process.

• Manage intricate merchant integration projects, align both internal and external stakeholders, develop implementation plans, and proactively address risks.

• Work in conjunction with the Product team to identify enhancements and new features based on market insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in a merchant-facing position involving a complex API product, preferably in the payments sector.

• Proficient in implementing frontend SDKs in web or mobile settings and guiding developers on best integration practices.

• Comfortable leading discovery sessions, participating in C-level presentations, and collaborating with technical counterparts at large merchants.

• Strong interest or knowledge in technology, including the ability to understand, explain, and design complex technical solutions.

• Project management capabilities; organized, proactive, and capable of leading integrations that involve multiple teams and dependencies.

• Creative thinking and improvisational skills.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• A collaborative mindset when working with clients, partners, and internal teams in Product, Engineering, and Sales.

• High levels of drive and motivation.

• Experience in a fast-paced and scaling work environment.
