📋 Description

• Lead technical discovery sessions, in-depth calls, and customized demonstrations, illustrating how n8n integrates into intricate customer ecosystems while meeting security, scalability, and reliability standards.

• Collaborate closely with Account Executives to evaluate technical compatibility, develop deal strategies, and address technical objections, delivering demonstrations based on authentic Enterprise workflows and scenarios.

• Manage Enterprise Proof of Concepts (POCs) from start to finish, establishing success criteria and providing hands-on technical advice throughout the assessment process.

• Assist customers in validating n8n under real-world conditions and gather insights from POCs to enhance qualification, conversion rates, and transition to Solution Architecture/Customer Success.

• Establish solid relationships with IT, Security, Platform, and Engineering stakeholders, serving as the primary technical liaison during Enterprise evaluations.

• Articulate n8n’s approach to security, deployment, governance, and scalability, aiding customers in planning for adoption beyond their initial use case.

• Work in conjunction with Sales to enhance Enterprise technical discovery, demonstrations, and POC frameworks.

• Provide structured feedback from Enterprise clients to Product and Engineering teams, and contribute to the creation of enablement materials that fortify Enterprise sales initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• 💼 Sales Engineering Experience: You possess over 6 years of experience in a technical pre-sales or Sales Engineering capacity, preferably within B2B SaaS, having direct engagement with enterprise customers.

• 🗣 Excellent Communication Skills: You can effectively convey complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and confidently communicate with enterprise stakeholders.

• 🌐 Commercial Acumen: You comprehend sales processes and can innovatively translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions.

• 🤝 Relationship Building: You excel in cultivating and sustaining relationships with clients, especially within infrastructure teams regarding deployment needs.

• 🔧 Strong Technical Proficiency: You have hands-on experience with:

• - API integrations, OAuth, and authentication/authorization principles.

• - JavaScript and/or Python for scripting, integrations, or demonstrations.

• - Containerization and orchestration concepts (Docker, Kubernetes).

• - CI/CD and DevOps practices, including incorporating applications into CI/CD pipelines.

• - Networking fundamentals, security best practices, and observability concepts.

• ☁️ Cloud & Infrastructure Awareness: You possess a robust understanding of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and commonly used cloud services in contemporary SaaS architectures.

• 🚀 Startup Experience: You thrive in dynamic, high-ownership startup settings and enjoy taking on various roles.

• ✈️ Travel-Ready: You are willing to travel occasionally and participate in onboarding sessions with the team in NYC / EMEA as required.

• **AI & Automation Experience (Nice-to-have)**: Practical experience or strong familiarity with AI/LLM platforms, including concepts such as:

• - LLMs, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), agents, and orchestration frameworks.

• - Integrating AI capabilities into workflows or customer-facing solutions.

• - Exposure to ML infrastructure or AI-enabled automation platforms.

• **Advanced Technical Background (Nice-to-have)**: You hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical training.

• 🌱 Community & Open Source Engagement: You actively participate in technical communities or have experience contributing to or collaborating with open-source projects.

• 🛠 Product Familiarity: Experience with n8n or similar workflow automation, integration, or iPaaS tools.

• 📊 Data-Driven Mindset: You are comfortable gathering, analyzing, and utilizing data to enhance pre-sales processes, POCs, and customer outcomes.
