Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Sales team to convey Grafana’s value proposition, vision, and strategy to clients.

• Manage technical customer interactions and assist in closing intricate opportunities through in-depth knowledge, technical expertise, and credibility.

• Present product and technical demonstrations to both prospective and existing clients.

• Engage with customers and internal teams to deliver feedback on products and the competitive landscape.

• Initiate product discussions centered around customer requirements and challenges.

• Improve documentation, write blog articles, create videos, contribute to knowledge base content, and develop public or private training materials.

• Serve as a liaison between Grafana Labs engineering teams, customers, and the Sales department.

• Provide education to potential and existing customers through demonstrations, hands-on training, presentations, technical assessments, and continuous engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Reside in Tokyo, Japan.

• Minimum of 5 years in technical pre-sales roles.

• Preferably have experience with Open Source technologies or in the Metrics/Monitoring domain.

• Strong judgment, teamwork, and leadership abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to articulate Grafana’s value proposition and technical product benefits.

• Ability to tackle technical challenges and devise innovative solutions for customers.

• Technical mindset with a keen interest in professional growth.

• Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDD(P)ICC is a plus.
