Senior Solutions Architect – Professional Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Accountable for overseeing the entire customer journey from the sale of the WEKA product through to a complete deployment in a production environment, ensuring a positive onboarding experience for customers.

• Directs the project for installing the WEKA product, which includes risk assessment, planning, deployment scheduling, and providing status updates to our customers and partners.

• Responsible for documenting solution specifics, such as diagrams and specifications, with an emphasis on translating undefined requirements into comprehensive end-to-end solutions.

• Employs open-source technologies and tools to address specific use cases encountered during the project.

• Applies coding languages or scripting methodologies to resolve issues through custom workflows.

• Works collaboratively with project stakeholders to determine the most effective approaches to address complex technological infrastructure challenges.

• Conducts incremental testing of code, processes, and deployments to discover ways to enhance execution and reduce human errors.

• Main duties will include deploying and managing AI/HPC infrastructure in Linux-based environments for both new and existing customers.

• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities with a strong emphasis on customer experience.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities, along with excellent documentation skills.

• Familiarity with best practices and IT operations in Enterprise environments, particularly concerning mission-critical infrastructure.

• Experience with automation tools and cluster management platforms such as Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Bright, Jenkins, or xcat.

• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Perl.

• Experience with Source Code Control Systems such as GitHub and git.

• Knowledge of Ethernet or InfiniBand networking, especially with 100+Gb networks.

• Experience in performance monitoring and tuning of Linux systems.

• Familiarity with HPC environments, including expertise in HPC cluster management tools.

• Knowledge of Parallel Filesystems (Lustre, GPFS/SpectrumScale, DDN).

• Understanding of Software-Defined Storage (SDS).

• Practical experience in Kubernetes administration/operation and containerized workloads.

• Hands-on experience in Linux Systems Administration.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

• Strong interpersonal skills for delivering technical presentations, architectural designs, and acting as a trusted advisor to customers (experience in sales, consulting, or Customer Success is beneficial).

• Provides on-demand knowledge transfers, creates handover materials, and supports customers during deployments.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.
