This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers as the technical lead for a portfolio of EMEA accounts.
• Take ownership of customers' technical success from the onboarding phase and beyond.
• Oversee customer onboarding to ensure proper setup and quick realization of value.
• Design and manage migration strategies from platforms such as Segment, mParticle, GA4, or bespoke pipelines.
• Develop and assist customers through their implementation plans.
• Act as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries regarding SDKs, event streaming, data warehouses, reverse ETL, and identity resolution.
• Conduct product training sessions tailored to the specific needs of each customer's team and use case.
• Identify gaps in platform usage and showcase relevant features that address customer challenges and add value.
• Provide guidance on customer data strategy and architecture design.
• Collect customer feedback and relay it to Product and Engineering teams to help shape the roadmap.
• Cultivate subject matter expertise in the customer data landscape and RudderStack's role within it.
• Occasionally hold onsite customer sessions for relationship building, onboarding, and workshops.
• Serve as an escalation point for technical incidents and collaborate with Engineering and Support to resolve critical customer issues.
• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, or Implementation/Professional Services Consultant.
• 8+ years of progressive professional experience in supporting technical products.
• Proactive and self-motivated individual.
• High emotional intelligence, capable of building trust and managing difficult conversations with calmness and empathy.
• Ability to grasp the underlying technology quickly and understand technical concepts.
• Customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
• Passionate lifelong learner who enjoys acquiring and sharing knowledge.
• Organized, driven, and adept at quickly switching contexts across multiple accounts.
• Strong understanding of modern web services, mobile applications, and cloud infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure.
• Professional experience in areas including web development, mobile development, device platforms and architectures, ETL concepts and workflows, high availability systems and business continuity, message queuing patterns, and pipeline design.
• Bonus: Experience in leading platform migrations or large-scale enterprise implementations.
• Bonus: Experience in building websites or mobile applications, or working with ETL or data pipelines.
• Bonus: Experience in marketing or advertising, with an understanding of technical customer data challenges.
• Bonus: Experience with data analytics, data science, AI, or machine learning.
