Senior Solutions Architect – Modern Platforms, Telecom, Media, Entertainment, Gaming, Sports

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create client-facing deliverables such as high-level solution summaries, proposals, staffing models, Statements of Work, and responses to RFPs and RFIs.

• Oversee the scoping, assessment, mobilization, and execution of migrations from on-premises applications and legacy data centers to AWS.

• Develop cloud security, identity, and access management strategies that comply with regulatory and compliance standards.

• Implement infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to establish automated CI/CD pipelines.

• Serve as a subject matter expert while managing the sales cycle from the gathering of requirements to the handoff for delivery.

• Take ownership of the proposal approval process, coordinating cross-functional reviews and obtaining internal stakeholder sign-off.

• Establish and apply standardized methodologies for solution design, deployment, and optimization in TMEGS environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, delivery, or similar customer-facing technical roles.

• Over 3 years of experience providing consulting and advisory services for strategic solutions, including IT strategy, application placement, and cloud governance.

• Extensive AWS expertise in core services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, EKS, and others.

• Strong knowledge of EKS, ECS, Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS Well-Architected principles.

• Excellent communication skills and executive presence when interacting with technical architects and C-suite stakeholders.

• Proven experience in architecting lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting cloud migration and modernization solutions.

• Comprehensive understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, microservices, serverless, and event-driven AWS architectures.

• Familiarity with solution design methodologies and technical best practices.

• In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, EKS, ECS, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53, and AWS Organizations.

• Proficiency in the AWS Well-Architected Framework across all five pillars.

• Hands-on experience in designing enterprise-level multi-account, multi-region AWS architectures.

• Knowledge of AWS or third-party migration tools.

• Experience utilizing the AWS Pricing Calculator and constructing cost models for estimates and proposals.

• Active AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional certification is highly preferred.
