Senior Solutions Architect, Infiniband, Networking, Ethernet

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Develop AI/HPC infrastructure for both new and existing clients

• Assist in the operational and reliability dimensions of large-scale AI clusters, with an emphasis on performance at scale, real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting

• Enhance the complete service lifecycle from conception and design to deployment, operation, and refinement

• Ensure the maintenance of live services by evaluating and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health

• Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to assess, define, and execute large-scale networking projects

• Offer feedback to internal teams by reporting bugs, documenting workarounds, and recommending enhancements

⛳️ Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related disciplines

• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience with networking fundamentals, TCP/IP stack, and data center architecture

• Expertise in configuring, testing, validating, and troubleshooting LAN and InfiniBand networks, particularly in medium to large-scale HPC/AI environments

• Advanced understanding of EVPN, BGP, OSPF, and VXLAN protocols

• Practical experience with Cumulus Linux, SONiC, IOS, JunosOS, and EOS network switch/router platforms

• Significant experience in delivering automated network provisioning solutions using Ansible, Salt, and Python

• Capability to develop CI/CD pipelines for network operations

• Strong emphasis on customer needs and satisfaction

• Self-driven, with leadership qualities to collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams

• Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills in English

• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud networks is advantageous

• Linux or networking certifications are a plus

• Experience with high-performance computing architectures is beneficial

• Understanding of Slurm and PBS job schedulers is advantageous

• Knowledge of Lustre management technologies is a bonus; familiarity with BCM is also a bonus

• Experience with GPU-centric hardware/software is a plus
