Senior Solutions Architect – HPC, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Collaborating with developers of NVIDIA’s training framework and product teams to remain at the forefront of the latest features and assist partners in adopting them effectively.

• Aiding in the deployment, debugging, and enhancement of AI workloads on large NVIDIA platforms.

• Evaluating new framework features, analyzing performance metrics, and providing actionable insights to both customers and internal teams.

• Engaging directly with external customers to address cluster performance and stability challenges, pinpoint bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions.

• Developing expertise and guiding customers in efficiently and reliably scaling workloads on the latest generation of NVIDIA GPUs.

• Contributing to Europe’s Sovereign AI initiative by assisting customers in implementing advanced resiliency features within AI training pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS, MS, PhD, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related engineering discipline—or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 8 years of experience in accelerated computing technologies at a cluster scale, preferably including experience with NVIDIA platforms.

• Strong programming abilities in at least one of the following languages: C, C++, or Python.

• Practical experience in identifying and resolving bottlenecks in large-scale training workloads or parallel applications.

• Hands-on experience with profiling and debugging extensive parallel applications.

• Solid understanding of CPU and GPU architectures, CUDA, parallel filesystems, and high-speed interconnects.

• Experienced in managing large compute clusters with a grasp of their internal scheduling and resource management mechanisms (e.g., SLURM or cloud-based clusters).

• Proficient knowledge of training pipelines and frameworks, including their internal operations and performance characteristics.
