Senior Solutions Architect – Data & AI Engineer, German-Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and implement robust AWS architectures for data platforms and GenAI/Agentic AI solutions.

• Maintain security, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency in line with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

• Document and make architectural decisions, including assessing trade-offs.

• Convert business challenges into measurable technical requirements and clear goals.

• Continuously enhance existing standards.

• Assist in technical pre-sales, project scoping, and preparing Statements of Work.

• Create generative AI and agentic AI solutions on AWS Bedrock utilizing Strands Agents and Bedrock AgentCore.

• Develop agent architectures that incorporate tool use, MCP-based integrations, multi-step orchestration, and distinctly defined agent-scope boundaries.

• Implement human-in-the-loop methodologies, approval processes, escalation logic, and automated review cycles.

• Establish evaluation and quality assurance protocols for LLM and agent systems.

• Provide guidance to customers on the practical and responsible application of GenAI and agentic AI.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor and facilitate technical workshops.

• Simplify complex technology into clear business benefits.

• Mentor junior team members.

• Contribute to internal standards, best practices, and training initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in cloud, data, software, or ML engineering, with at least 2 years managing end-to-end architectures.

• Strong practical expertise with AWS.

• Extensive experience in data engineering and ETL architectures.

• Experience with generative AI and agentic AI projects.

• Proficient in Python.

• Fluent in English.

• Professional proficiency in German.

• AWS certifications (preferred).

• Background in pre-sales or technical leadership (preferred).

• Experience in consulting or customer-facing roles (preferred).

• Familiarity with AWS Connect (preferred).

• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies, such as Terraform or equivalents (preferred).

• Experience in customizing, fine-tuning, and distilling LLMs (preferred).

• Practical experience in MLOps, including model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management (preferred).

• Knowledge of Kafka/streaming technologies (preferred).
